Author Visits

Emily's visit was such an inspiration to our 5th graders. Later that day and throughout the week students have been creating their own books. Students were discussing their own strengths in the process of creating a book, they were choosing writers, illustrators, and editors for their own books! We truly enjoyed our visit with Emily Peace Harrison and the reading of her inspirational book, "I'd Rather Be Me", a book that can be enjoyed by all ages.
